In order to become a participant, one must be registered as a D3R user.
By joining, the participant will be added to a mailing list and notified of upcoming events and deadlines of the various stages within the SAMPL challenge.
On registration, the participant has the option to remain anonymous. HOWEVER, if the option is selected at the beginning of the challenge, it can’t be reversed at a later stage.
ANONYMOUS PARTICIPATION: If a participant opts to remain anonymous, D3R will make reasonable efforts to keep the identity of the participant confidential. However, the predictions and methods themselves may be made public, without identifying information. NOTE: Although DR3 will do its best to protect the anonymity of ANONYMOUS participants, there are no guarantees.
A specific participant can only join once, but may submit multiple predictions. Participants are encouraged to submit a full set of predictions for each protein target. Incomplete submissions - such as for a subset of compounds - will also be accepted, but will not necessarily be evaluated together with the rest of the submissions.
In order to avoid possible confusion regarding the file downloads, and to help us count prospective participants, we request that you download your own set of challenge files from this site, instead of getting them from someone else.
All results submissions will be electronic, via a link supplied on this website.
